This monument is a symbol of how the dream became a reality. The contours of the legendary musicians in 2007, was cast in iron in the plant in the small town of mikhaylovsk in the South of the Sverdlovsk region, the Director who also was a former Beatles fan. Curiously, the contour of John Lennon was cast on the day of his birth. Then on the banks of the Iset specially for a monument built a brick wall, and the space in front of the monument made of black polished granite. The Grand opening took place on 23 may 2009. It was a real event in the cultural life of Yekaterinburg. To open the monument was entrusted to the members of the famous group "the Quarryman", which was founded by John Lennon.
