These attempts to force people to speak through the threat of jail time almost sounds the shit you hear about from the middle ages. It really should be illegal.
Yes, the "legal" system is often far from lawful.
Contempt of cort has maybe indefinte detention many countrys. Tho once apparent your not gunna nark on you're mate then most judges just give the fine or whateva and let you go.
