Summer Serenity
This is another Malta landscape I captured last summer and decided to paint. The cold weather we had for the last couple of months makes me feel nostalgic for those warm summer days I guess. I really liked this picture while I was scrolling through the vacation pics I took last summer, especially the way the light brushes through the vegetation. I realised light is one of the most important elements in an environment painting and I want to challenge myself to do more paintings like this.

That is so beautiful, @georgiana ! The lighting and detailing are wonderfully done <3 I love how the light and shadow transition over the grass and then how the light caught the faces of the stones <3 Very lovely!

Thank you! <3 I will try to add more process pics in my future posts. The problem is that I'm usually too focused on my work to stop and capture the progress, but that's definitely fun to watch and useful, not only for other people, but for me also, to see my progress.
