Is money making happiness ??
They say that happiness is not bought with money, and that is true, but it is also true that money can buy "less sadness." A recent study at the University of British Columbia found that high financial income is not associated with increased happiness, Feeling less sad.
The researchers looked at the data of 12,000 people whose access information was recorded and what they said they felt, and noted that those who had higher incomes did not feel an increase in daily happiness, but recorded less grief each day. The results of the study were published in the Journal of Social Psychology and Personal Science.
The researchers concluded that money may be a more effective tool to reduce grief than to get better and happier.
One of the reasons I have suggested this is that money helps you deal with negative conditions, such as home ruin or raising tuition fees, so this will help to ward off these cramps and cause grief for the person.

At the fundamental level, when you dont have the basics, money certainly buys less sadness. However, as you work up the chain (and income scale) money loses it ability to impact in that way. I believe a study was done that it was $70K in the US. Up to that point, money created more happiness but after one passed $70K, the impact was negated. Someone making $300K wasnt happier than the one making $75K, at least because of the money.

I thing freedom is making happiness over money at all time. The only time in my life where I have been very focused on earning money, when I got the opportunity gain a magnificent amount of personal freedom within a short timespand. Just piling money for the sake of money, have never had my interest. The time spend on earning that money have always had to be connected with freedom. Which means that I would rather have a pasport full up with stamps, than a pArticular house, standard, car etc.
You don't need to be a millionair to be economically independent, but you need to focus your attention on gaining the conciousness to uptain such goal.
