MakeMeSmile#6 entry: Be a junior chef, anew :-), let's make some breakfast pancakes for mom and dad

This is my week6 makemesmile entry, thanks @elizacheng for this on-going event.

My boy was up early as usual this morning. Before bed last night, he asked his mom if he would make us some pancakes for breakfast. Mom gave the green light. :-)

今天早上，我孩像往常一樣早起。昨天晚上睡覺前，他問媽媽他可以我們做早餐煎餅。媽媽開了綠燈。

Why it makes me happy?

• I just helped with him with taking ingredients out of the fridge and plugging the pancake machine to the socket. He did the rest taking a big bowl, a whisk, plates, and cutlery from the cupboard, and doing all the pouring, whisking, and cooking.

我只幫助他從冰箱裡取出材料，並將煎餅機插入插座。他做餘下的事情，從碗櫥裡拿一個大碗，一個拂子，盤和刀叉，還有攪拌和煮。

• He knows he has to whisk until the batter is smooth as silk or lumpy batter makes lumpy pancakes that don't taste good.

他知道他必須拂動，直到麵糊變得光滑絲綢。塊狀麵糊味道不好。

• We worked as a team as always. Each of us did our part and together we made it.

我們一如既往地以團隊的方式工作。我們每個人都盡我們的本分，一起我們完成了。

• It seems to me he has a bit of flair for cooking. Perhaps, one day, he'd make a good fortunate out of it and I wouldn't worry about my retirement. Chuckling....

在我看來，他有點烹飪的天賦。也許，有一天，他會做煮食掙錢，我也不必擔心退休問題。笑著....

• The pancakes, with honey and cream on top, were delicious.

上面有蜂蜜和奶油的煎餅很美味。

• That's a part of on-going enquiry-based learning. We discussed what ingredients, how much of them, how to cook, and how to serve.
