I try to engage in conversation with people, no matter what their opinion is and whether it fits with mine. I don't want to stop doing that - and it works very well to respect each other and not to want to proselytise the other person. I am very sorry that you have had many other experiences.

Ich versuche, mit Leuten ins Gespräch zu kommen, egal wie ihre Meinung aussieht und ob sie zu meiner paßt. Ich möchte damit nicht aufhören - und es funktioniert sehr wohl, sich dabei gegenseitig zu respektieren und den anderen nicht missionieren zu wollen. Es tut mir sehr leid, daß Du viele andere Erfahrungen machen mußtest.
