A LETTER TO MY LOVE

You are my sun,
you light up my life,
with every gaze you make i melt,
with every smile, you illuminate

But as i drew closer
the wings you gave falter
every breath became harder
slowly, I fell farther

I burned, I disintegrate
Wings churned, Never regenerate
You are the risk i did take
The wings you gave, a fake

I met this girl i knew of her 5 years ago since she was a family friend,
i lost contact with her and got no knews until she came home to the Philippines
we were never close and never talked before, but one time when she came home and decided to come with
us on a trip in La union (photos taken and posted in my blog before was at that time)
we had the chance to know each other she is pretty,admirable,adorable and a woman you could think that you can marry.
and since then after being single for 3 years i decided to have a go again at romance.

Hoping that our story will not turn out like what my poem conveys
made the poem because of the fears that might still be lurking within me
