MacroPhotography Contest Entry by Sunscape
These are a macro shot of the buds opening on a milkweed flower in my garden last summer. I leave some of them growing for the butterflies to lay eggs on. The buds are very interesting with a close up view.

What an amazing shot! I love the fine details of the flower bursting into life. I am familiar with milkweed, but, I can honestly say I have never been privileged to see this sight!
