Giant Costa Rican grasshopper sitting on tree - macrophotography contest
Hi Steemians, this is my entry for the @Macrophotography Contest by @juliank. It is a purple red-winged grasshopper (Taeniopoda Reticulata) sitting on a tree branch. I took this photo in a tropical garden near Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, in September 2017. Costa Rica is famous for an incredibly diverse and abundant wildlife and local insect is no exception :)

I think I see your mistake for @photocontests.
You may need to put a hashtag in front of Macrophotography instead of the @.

Thank you :) Do you think it is really necessary to include hashtags in the text too? I thought adding the correct tags in the tags box was enough.
hi, i'm not sure this post made it? i tested two out myself today and figured out that the first tag must be the contest we are trying to place our photo in to get the bot to recognize and award. both of mine made it and i used the formula others used that got the bot to respond.
PS. kind of sucks for me because i really really wanted my vehicle photo to get in there, so now i'm wondering how to enter it in for the next contest without it being a duplicate steemit post? Wahh

@eaglespirit So I just submitted my entry for today´s streetphotography contest, I included hashtags for both the contest and the host in the description, added the corret tags in the tag box but still havent recieved the automatic comment nor the upvote :D I am really confused now.
