small animal photography

Today I get a small animal like a butterfly he also looks like a grasshopper. What is this type of small animal. For me it's not that important because I just want to get the picture. I tried to take a picture with my smartphone camera. Then I added a macro lens. To make this little animal look clear. I did many times to get a more detailed picture. It is very difficult for me to do this. Maybe because I'm not used to doing this kind of work
