Eristalis tenax on campanula flower
Eristalis tenax / blinde bij or Drone fly recovering from some rain on a campanula flower.
I made these images some years ago in my old garden with a sony a6000 + Panagor auto macro converter + rokkor 50mm 1.7
It's amazing how close you can get and how much details you can see oin an insect without capturing or killing it like some macro photographers do , i prefer to take the pictures in the natural environment.
these flies are often mistaken for being a bee but they are just flies :)

Unbelievable these eyes ... even if you took the photos years ago .... they are still fantastic ... a small universe ... made visible to all of us by macro. Well done!
Nice .
