Репница. / Pieris rapae. #macrophotography

In summer flowers and butterflies adorn the world. Even the simplest ones. Look at the garden whites butterfly, sitting on a blossoming burdock. They really beautiful, is not it? And complement each other in color.
From a distance I saw the color combination. And having photographed and having looked this pic in increase, has noted streaks on wings of the butterfly and a beautiful fluffy brush of a flower.
I'm a small specialist in butterflies. I remember from childhood that such a white butterfly with dots is called a cabbage butterfly and harms cabbage plantations accordingly. And now, responsibly approaching to the preparation of the post, I found out that this is another butterfly from the genus of garden whites - the small white (Pieris rapae). We can assume that her caterpillars likes turnip more cabbage. However, when the small white is in the butterfly stage, no damage is done to any leaves, but collects the nectar.

Летом цветы и бабочки очень украшают мир. Даже самые простые. Посмотрите на бабочку-белянку, сидящую на цветущем репейнике. Правда же, они прекрасны? И по цвету дополняют друг друга.
Издали я увидела именно цветовое сочетание. А сфотографировав и посмотрев эту сценку в увеличении, отметила прожилки на крыльях бабочки и красивую пушистую метёлку цветка.
Я небольшой специалист в бабочках. Запомнила с детства, что такая светлая бабочка с точками – называется капустница и вредит соответственно посадкам капусты. А сейчас, ответственно подойдя к подготовке поста, обнаружила, что это другая бабочка из рода огородных белянок – репница (Pieris rapae). Можно предположить, что её гусеницам репа нравится больше капусты. Впрочем, когда репница находится в стадии бабочки, никаким листьям она ущерб не наносит, а собирает нектар.
