LITTLE 'SHROOMS
I love hiking in the forest here in the Northwest as the scenery is ever changing. You can see something one day and go out the next and it's totally different . Lots of eye candy! A couple of weeks ago when it was a bit cooler than it is now, I found a fallen tree with these little guys on it.
This next picture gives you a view from the side; they all look like little soldiers lined up.
These three little guys were the loners of the bunch.
And, this last picture shows the first group, but a little more close up. Interesting color variation of a couple of them.
Tonight, I found a new fungus of some type that I'm going to get a better look at in brighter daylight. I curious to see if it's the only one, or if there are other lurking nearby.
I hope you have enjoyed this peek into my forest! Have a nice day!

Are the mushroom the type you can eat? Nice count 💪👍♥️

Hi @ketcom! Thanks! No, I don't think you can eat these. There are mushrooms here called Morel, and they are supposed to be edible, but I don't trust what's what when it comes to mushrooms. Honestly, I don't really like them anyway. There are some here that mimic the Morel which are deadly poisonous. Every fall, I have a mushroom fest of pictures as I also admit, they fascinate me. Have a good day!
That is a safe strategy 👍
