I want to assure you thats when God is in control, you are not losing the battle . In john chapter 7 :42-53, some soldiers were sent to arrest Jesus. They went to him with the full intention to arrest him, but when they got there they saw something different. they got there and began to admire him. When he asked why they did not arrest him, there response was funny. They said, "no man ever spoke like this man". This was the one of those many occasions when they wanted harm Jesus.

Each time, something kept them from succeeding. The simple reason was that Jesus time has not come . He kept eluding them. If your time has not come, no amount of misfortune can take away your life. No death can kill you and no evil can destroy you . The more the devil plans, the more he fails because life is in you. Your life is in the hand of God . Anyone who wants to kill you will have to take it from God's hands . don't be afraid of the terror by the night or of the arrow that flies by the day nor for the pestilence that walks in the darkness, nor for the destruction that wasts at noonday.

When it is Jesus time, the Jews didn't need much expertise to succeed. You will accomplish your mission on earth . You will not leave anything halfway . God is your director he will direct your life and the cause of your existence . He will deliver you from the devices of the enemies. He will prevail in your life.
