Why Atheism is Illogical & Opposes Human Evolution. Thoughts on Oneness & Balance.

in #love5 years ago (edited)

Our obsession with argument, religion, control and many other parts of life often has us missing the real 'big picture'. Simple logic needs to be applied to life in general, before we can understand even small parts of what life is and has become. Who are you? What is God? Let's take a look. :)

Theism

"Theism is broadly defined as the belief in the existence of the Supreme Being or deities"
source: Wikipedia

Atheism

"Atheism is, in the broadest sense, the absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is the rejection of belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities. Atheism is contrasted with theism, which, in its most general form, is the belief that at least one deity exists."

Deity

"A deity is a supernatural being considered divine or sacred. The Oxford Dictionary of English defines deity as "a god or goddess (in a polytheistic religion)", or anything revered as divine"

Defining Divinity

Just as with many subjects on Earth, there have long been gaps in understanding that have twisted the truth and caused many to judge things to be a certain way, when in fact they are not.

Truth itself is often considered to be a quality of that which is sacred, divine and 'godly' - therefore, God has been considered to be the ultimate 'authority'. However, we know from our own lives that we cannot really know what is true without experiences to prove the truth to us and therefore, just as if I tell you that something in particular is true - if you were to hear it from 'God', you would still be left either needing to have 'faith' or to instead find ways of learning the truth for yourself.

This leaves us with a challenge, since how can anyone truly KNOW that 'God' is an ultimately authority if we ourselves do not know the truth? We cannot - at least, not without drawing experiences that teach us directly.

When we understand that 'All is one', we can start to comprehend how, in fact, experiences CAN and DO come to us in order to teach us, so that we can know who we are and enjoy balance. We have a choice of perception here - we can choose to recognise all as God, nothing as God or that God is somehow separate from many/most things in some way.

This is where we get into the definitions of 'atheism' and 'deity', since if we are to take a position here, we will always do so in relation to the definitions being used (and we do not all hold the same definitions).

Let us note that the definitions shared from Wikipedia mention 'belief' as if it is not possible to know either way. There is a denial here, since the definitions effectively mean that the moment you KNOW that a God exists, you are neither an atheist or a theist - since you neither believe nor disbelieve in God - you KNOW. Many people are confusing belief with knowledge and are, as a result, judging themselves and others to be one way when they are not.

Divinity is classed as being a quality of being 'superhuman' and is associated with 'Deity' - yet what is it that stops humans from being divine? Isn't it possible to be divine AND for a deity to co-exist? Where are the lines drawn?

For me, divinity is a state of being that can be attained through self acceptance. Divinity is a coherence, peace, power and a unification of self that is in alignment with love, balance and oneness.

Oneness

To be totally precise, it is possible to believe that God is in all things - including self - yet to not KNOW that this is true. In such a case, it is possible to be a theist, yet not accept that there is a 'God' that you could literally approach and talk to that is God, while you yourself are not God. This is a position that accepts Oneness (All is one), while also closing off the possibility that one part of 'the One' may be inherently moving faster and knowing more than you ever will. If we take such a position, we may be closed to what lays beyond Earth and in other dimensions - since it may well be that there is a core of energy within 'the one' that really does act as a 'God' (although it remains part of us too).

For me, since I am logical in my approach, I discern that ultimately everything is God or is at least a 'thing' or 'being' that was once part of God and is now experiencing God from a different perspective. In other words, humans are mirrors of God and this fits in with the Christian idea of us 'being made in the image of God'.

So I do not 'believe in God' as a Christian does, since for me there is no need to believe in anything at all. I simply KNOW that God exists and is all around. I don't see 'things', I see manifestations of God with varying degrees of divinity in them. Some manifestations were produced with a greater degree of coherence than others and thus reflect a divine state more than others.

None the less though, everything remains within the oneness... Much like the way a drink may have many layers but still remains a drink:

Why Atheism is Illogical

If Atheism is the rejection of divinity and divinity is only a highly coherent form of consciousness and a state of being.. Then by denying the possibility of such coherent consciousness we are also denying ourselves the ability of such presence and awareness. By denying God, we literally close off our own potential for evolution!

Denying God is like saying 'I don't know how this universe came to exist but I don't accept that it came to exist via any kind of evolving consciousness that is more capable than my own and those around me - so therefore such consciousness does not exist'. There are so many logical errors in such a position that I will not list them all here.

To reject the idea that God exists in all things is to deny self and evolutionary potential.

To reject that God exists separately from us is to deny the potential that splits occurred within the oneness long ago that have led to a highly segregated evolution that has humans significantly devolved as compared to some kind of central core of creation (otherwise typically called 'God'). Do we KNOW if this has occurred or not? Do those who identify as atheists actually REMEMBER their entire history since the beginning of the universe?

In my experience there actually are humans who DO remember so far back. I myself have remembered some past lives and being in the womb in this life - so I have no reason to think such understanding is impossible. In these cases, the people have related to the existence of a part of us (the one) that really was/is dramatically more powerful and present than we are - which they have called God.

Regardless of whether we accept their position as being accurate or not - the fact remains that by denying that consciousness that is 'superhuman' exists, we are denying that anyone can achieve states more advanced than human - which is not something that inspires growth and so is self defeating. In short, such 'belief' in atheism is a trap.

Divine Logic

  1. You exist
  2. All is one
  3. What you put out is what you get back
  4. Everything changes, except for the first 3.

These 'laws' have been given to us at this time, apparently from beyond the Earth's human experience. I have simplified them for the purpose of this post, but you can see/feel that they are written to encompass existence everywhere. By defining yourself to be somehow 'not part of the oneness', you remove yourself from connection to anything that IS divine. By removing God from oneness (by your own definition), you deny oneness. So from my perspective, the only definition that makes sense is that there is a oneness that includes you, me and ANY 'God' that may exist. This oneness is a continuum and contains a spectrum of awareness and coherence such that those beings on one end who are lacking such qualities may judge themselves to be 'less than' those at the other end - however, the oneness means that in truth it has always been the same being looking at part of itself through unique perspectives.

If I look at my toenail, I know that it is unlikely to become an award winning physicist - however, it remains part of me and thus has equal title to any title that 'the rest of me' is ever given!

There is nothing wrong with remaining open to the unknown - it is always where you will find more of yourself. My advice is to not claim that something does not exist while you yourself do not know everything that exists!

Wishing you well,

The manifested universe is an example of Oneness limiting itself. Start with infinite potential (everything and nothing at the same time: The Tao). This is the Source of everything that has been manifested. And, as soon as, an infinite potential narrows down to "something", that something is no longer infinite and therefore limited, within the confines of manifested reality.

The Tao is called the Great Mother:
empty yet inexhaustible.
It gives birth to infinite worlds,
yet its immaculate purity is never lost.
It assumes countless forms,
yet its true identity remains intact.

Listen to its voice,
hear it echo through creation.
Although invisible, it endures;
it will never end.
Without fail, it brings us
to our own perfection.
