Love is a healer

It took me a long time to love and accept myself without any makeup on. But really, this is my true-self, my identity and theres no hiding from it anymore. Oh and yes I can rub my eyes and talk on the phone without foundation transfer and eat a burger without worrying if my lipstick is smudging up everywhere.

Loving yourself Is is the liberating of life. We live in a tough world that lacks love. The first step you can do to make it a better place is to learn to love yourself. Once you love yourself, anything becomes possible. It pushes you to grow beyond your imaged limitations. With self love, you can find the strength to overcome your fears and to brush away your worries.

This lack of love in this world is the root of almost all problems. To me, love is the most powerful weapon ; once it penetrates our hearts, it transforms itself into a cleansing water that eases the pain, salves the wound and restore wholeness.
We are all born for love. Its the principle of human life and it dominates it. It has the endless capacity to resolve problems of all kinds and dissolve its complexities.

As a psychotic depression and ptsd survivor, I can tell you this: one of the essential component that played a crucial role in my recovery is love. No matter how profound the pain is or intractable the trauma is, love was like a force that gave me strenght to hang on and to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

All of us has been given the tools to to create a life filled with love and happiness. But how often do I see people take good use of it? Why do human beings always manage to keep track of the bad instead of the good side of things, which they could use as a reservoir of happiness when they most need it? Why dont we all become artists of our own lives and start to create something beautiful instead of destroying it? Its never too late to create positive outcomes in our lives.

You told your parents you loved them?

You helped someone who needed it?

You did someone a favor without asking anything in return?

You tried to understand someone elses view point instead of getting in an argument?

You told your wife or husband how much they mean to you?

There are limitless possibilites and ways to make this world a better place, to spread kindness, love, compassion and tenderness. One simple act of love can take away all the hate and resentment. Lets make it happen.
