The Keys

Loving yourself is key! I know this seems like something that should be innate in ourselves, but sometimes along the path of life you allow events to influence your perception of yourself. At least for me, the struggle has always been being able to forgive myself for past decisions and mistakes I’ve made. I tend to live a lot of time inside my own head and over time have convinced myself that i am not worthy of anything good in life. Logically, I know that this isn’t true, but mentally and emotionally, it’s hard to learn how to pick up the pieces of myself after extreme life changes and events. With patience and allowing myself to process my emotions, I have began to understand that we all fall down, and a big part of life and happiness is using those obstacles to better understand myself and what I need to focus on. Don’t sweat the petty stuff, and don’t pet the sweaty stuff!! Allow the time you need to process and accept the situations that life brings your way. Spend time reconnecting with your inner self, and remember that you are the only one responsible for your happiness!!
