Jeronimo's Inspirational Philosophy - Part #24 "Anger & Regret"
Hello Steemians and Dtubians,
Today we are going to talk about "Anger" and "Regret". These are two very unnecessary and dangerous emotions that can cause us much trouble in the present and even more problems in the future.
When the "Ugly Face of Anger" shows up. It usually comes with a foul mouth as well. Insults begin to fly from our tongue and we tend to say things that we will regret very soon after in through our future. Anger can even lead to violent behavior which can really get out of control very fast.
We must always try to keep our composure and respect at all times for the people we are working with, family and friends and the ones we love or are in a relationship with whether its a girlfriend, boyfriend, fiance, husband or wife. Respect must prevail always. The dangers of anger are huge and can cause much pain in others lives. And this pain that is caused dwells deep in the soul and takes a long time to heal from. And we could end up being alone for many years after.
The unfortunate thing about anger as well is people will talk about these incidents. They will spread like a wildfire and the story will become more aggressive and larger than it originally was and it will leave you looking like someone who others no longer want to associate with. You will lose friends and loved ones and that my friends will be the greatest price you will pay. It will also lead to depression and may leave you all alone in life.
So, before you just go around blasting your anger out into the world. "PUT on the BRAKES" and think about what you want to say before you say anything. I promise you that this will keep everyone involved in the discussion about to take place much happier and healthier in their lives. And it will save you from the horrible feeling of regret that follows. We need to take better care of each other. Keeping control of our anger is just one small step to making this happen on a global level.
Always be at peace with yourself, inside your self. Then keep that peaceful feeling you have with everyone and everything around you.
Peace and Godspeed everyone. May every journey you take be a successful one and continue on for generations to come. Always love yourself because you deserve it and remember If you want to prosper in anything, Prosper in happiness, peace and, love always first.
My grandma and mom always told me, "If you don't have anything nice or good to say. Don't say anything at all". Some very wise advice.
