What are your definitions of love

Yeah, the love! That feeling... it comes in and from many forms of life: people, pets, G-d!

Let's imagine for a second you and I chatting in a coffee shop, we are close friends and one of us reads aloud this question from a magazine or social network group:

What are your definitions of love?

What the ... is love? are you ... really!? come on! ...

Love is problematic, don't you think? It is actually dangerous... whatever... !!!

THIS IS THE CHALLENGE:

(drums ...)

(dramatic drums ...)

(more drums ...)

Tell your definitions of love in just one comment of up to 280 characters long.

[=[ I would run some JS to validate it, so play nice with this hacker ;) ]=]

That's it, my first ever Steemit story ..., thanks for your replies!!

I agree with Ancient Greeks on that matter. There is no one definition of love, and there are different words that describe a lot of different types of love. You see, they were really particular and precise with their language. Ther are at least four words, and types of love.
I'll have to think a bit about my own definitions, but for a start here you go.
Oh, and yeah, welcome to Steemit!

Thanks for the link! "Storge" love is something I used to understand as part of "Philia" love, so learned something new :D
How about definitions from other cultures? I mean, Greeks were genius but they are not alone in history.

Welcome to the Steem.

Love is that feeling where you are understood and valued. Love is where your interests and others coincide. Actually, look up the definition of commerce. It's broad like my own definition, from sex, to friendship, to affinity, to common interest, etc. Commerce and love, people like to say they are separate, but in my view, they are virtually identical.

I think most kinds of love fit into your definition, except for "agape" love, that comes from divinity, it is supposed to ask nothing in exchange. Mothers know it pretty well!

Yes, which means I guess that I consider there to be 6 types, not just the classical greek 3.

There has been an intentional poisoning of the philos type to not include 'doing good business with people'. This is why people think that wealth and loot are the same thing. They absolutely are not. Of course this suits the worst of them the best, and then flows on to justifying the most petty.

Good attempt in a pump post, less than 500 words and something that other people can create content for. Then they will pump it for you, good idea!

Yeah, so smart that I got just 1 cent so far...
