LOVE (Original art)
I met the love of my life in 2014 and we declared our love for each other (through poetry) on top of Mt.Snowdon, symbolising how together we can over come anything. Since meeting her, life has changed so immeasurably its difficult to describe... We're both manically living and chasing our dreams to the fullest, building a beautiful life together! With me becoming a full-time artist, and with her going back into education, all while raising our beautiful daughter.
I painted these portraits to give to her on our second mountain, Scafell pike.
Anyways, I figured today is a good day to rejoice in my whimsical loved-up happiness...

Ha, she wasn't easy to find, and the journey to each other was still perilous... but who's isn't?
(warning, random tangent ahead)
But I don't think true love is necessarily hard to find. I think we all find it multiple times through-out our lives. Sometimes these are in intimate relationships, sometimes with friends and sometimes missed opportunities or complete fatalities. Each guiding and teaching us how to truly love ourselves; so that then we can truly love another while also accepting their love. It's at these points where I believe two journeys can harmoniously fold into one.
So its less of 'the one' and rather the one you choose.
In the right place. At the right time.
Aaaaand then you've got to work at it... cos life is tough and love is crazy! Haha!
Not strictly a mountain Scarfell pike! But a beautiful place. My granny used to live just before the woods on one of the routes up. Thanks for that memory. Have a great day.
