Valentines, namasté (Original poetry)
Dear Omniverse,
this is...
for all the ones that always care,
to all the ones, always there,
for all the couples, wrapped up in love,
to the heavens & stars above,
for all those broken hearts, like mine,
... for all those great loves, lost through time,
for all the quiet ones, we do not hear,
& to all the familiy & friends, we hold so dear...
I pour my heart & soul for you,
in hopes that love will find me too...
so I wish u all a special day,
full of peace... and love...

I wrote this poem about five years ago whilst I was going through celibacy. It was an amazing and enlightening, although very lonely and challenging, time in my life where I completely detached myself from sex and lust; and instead fully concentrated on loving myself. During this time, I learned so much about what love actually is, and although I had settled the loneliness argument within my head and my heart... I just can't help being a romantic. I wrote this poem quite early into my celibacy, almost as a hopeless prayer to the omniverse to one day return me to the whimsical ways of a being in love.
Luckily my prayer was answered...
...but thats a story for another time...
If you've got a loved one, cherish them.
And if you don't, never mind. Use this time wisely and learn how to love yourself and all those around you... and relax, the omniverse knows what its doing...
