BITCOIN LOTTO OUTLINE

This feed is specifically dedicated to the BTC lottery. This lottery will evolve as it grows and the most important part is your feedback. I want this to be a fair and enjoyable experience for all that wish to play!

Here is a bit of an outline:

1.) This lotto will strictly be in BTC (Bitcoin), all transactions and verification will be transparent and traceable through the blockchain

2.)This lotto is not solely available to Steemit users, but all tickets MUST be submitted through the comments sections, as all entries are verified through the comments. In other words, one can submit a ticket for a friend, but it must be done through a Steemit account.

3.)There will be an opening date and a closing date for each draw. These time frames will change and evolve to scale with the player base and opinion. Changes will be announced with as much time in advance as possible.

4.) Draws will be a system devised to randomly pick entries from the number of entered tickets, meaning there will be a winner EVERY draw.

5.)Anyone I know personally will not be eligible to play and in the event that they enter a ticket, it will be considered null and void.

6.)Tickets will be related to the sending BTC address only. Lotto can be played completely anonymously (onus on player), but the sending public keys MUST be public in the comments section. Payout verification will be done by winner providing private key, encrypted with my public PGP key, of sending address that bought the winning ticket. At this point the win pool will be sent to winners NEW specified receiving address. The receiving address MUST be PUBLIC in the comments section.

7.)I will take 3% of the pool for running the lotto and 3% will go to foundation or project, publicly verified, of my choosing. It doesn't necessarily have to be the same one each time. It will be under my sole discretion, but I pledge to diligently choose something that represents public interest in the spirit of liberation through some avenue of progress. These amounts will be under constant review and may change. Any changes will be announced in due time and manner.

8.)Will do a physical draw video taped with proof of time with physical tickets representing each BTC bought draw. This will be posted on a youtube channel. This will evolve to scale and as more transparent and streamline options are suggest or realized.

9.)All draws with start with a receiving BTC address, that address will be the identifier for that draw.

10.) Draws will start at 0.003 BTC and will be adjusted according to scale and demand. No limit on the number of tickets one can buy. BTC for multiple tickets can be sent from same address or different ones, but when multiple are coming from the same address please make sure exact multiples of ticket price are sent. Sender is responsible for appropriate fee's. Transactions must have one confirmation BEFORE deadline to be eligible for the draw. Amounts sent from single address that are greater than multiple of one of ticket price and less than full multiples will automatically purchase up to the amount of tickets that can be purchased by full multiples. Excess will go to prize pool. i.e. If the ticket price is 0.003 BTC and you send 0.010 BTC from one address, you will be eligible for 3 tickets and 0.001 BTC will go into price pool.

The idea is to allow as many people as possible to play while maintaining as big of prize pools as possible. The number of winning tickets and their respective allocation of prize pool percentage will be announced at the beginning of every draw. Initially there will be one winning ticket per draw, but this will be revisited as the prize pools grow.

I assume initial draws will be small as trust and player base builds. The 3% that I take is not only to compensate for the effort and time going into run the lotto, but is also a perceived public incentive for me not to risk corruption of the lotto as it should be assumed I would obviously prefer to make 3% in perpetuity rather then 100% once.

I will take the up votes from this post as potential player initial interest. I will assume any followers of this account are interested in potential playing the lotto.
