The talks of the new Steem.dao are very interesting.

I’m excited to see what becomes of a decentralized autonomous organization built on the Steem blockchain that has the goal to find proposals that help the blockchain move forward.

What kind of proposals will we see on the dao?

It’s unclear at this point.

My best guess is that we’ll see things along the lines of small, but meaningful implementations at first:

People may want to contribute to the condenser which is the backend for Steemit.com and they could post a dao proposal.

Perhaps they want to create some sort of app that aids applications on the blockchain like Steemconnect.

Or maybe they just want to market the blockchain and do a marketing campaign by buying ads or by making t shirts or making a video or buying a banner at a conference.

All these things will be made easy to fund and find on the dao.

The first proposal will be by blocktrades:

They are creating the first iteration of the dao and then once that is ready, they’ll create the second iteration of the dao by making their own proposal as a sort of test pilot as well.
