Salem Custom House

Salem Massachusetts is well known for the Salem Witch Trials, a horrific time of paranoia induced injustice, but Salem also has a long maritime history. The Salem Custom House is a piece of that maritime history that still stands today a museum dedicated to Salem's sea trade. At one time Salem was comparable to Boston in prominence was a major hub for trade throughout the Atlantic. Now, Salem is more of a tourist town, which fills up in the summer and fall and empties out in the winter. This town is truly delightful in all seasons though, and I recommend anyone in the area check it out.
