Sunrise over Donner Lake, California and Rainbow Bridge - location tagged

This old stump is a spot I've been to many times. It sits above Rainbow Bridge, Donner Lake, and Truckee, California. It's about a 20 minute drive from my house so the whole Rainbow Bridge area has provided many great photos for me over the last 15 years. This particular sunrise was very vibrant with oranges and yellows. The yellow colored light from the headlights of a driving car during a long exposure complimented the sunrise perfectly.
Shot on a Canon 5D Mark II with a 17-40L lens. A graduated neutral density filter was used and a headlamp to light the stump. ISO 50, f22, 8 second exposure.

P.S. Ha! Funny story, while I was finishing up writing this post, a local bank called wanting to license one of my Rainbow Bridge images for the cover of an annual report. This bridge has made me a lot of $ over the years... :)
