Long Exposure Lighthouse

This is Thurnham Lighthouse on the River Lune Estuary near Lancaster, UK.

Looking out over the Irish Sea, Thurnham Lighthouse is one of my favourite spots to visit with my dogs and maybe with the camera.

On this particular day, the sun had just dipped behind the horizon casting a strange hue across the clouds. A strong wind was moving the clouds along nicely so using a Neutral Density filter I shot several captures of varying length, aperture and ISO.

This was my favourite.
