Osaka needs to get drop her coach. she has gone backwards since he took over . she was silly dropping her previous coach. I don't think this coach she has knows anything about tennis. the writing was on the wall prior to Wimbledon .in previous outings. If she wants to regain her form she needs someone to help her solve her mistakes and teach her strategy. with shot selection and timing. you don't need to blast the ball every time, placement would help her immensely.
There is nothing wrong with being respectful of your opponent and bring upset with performance. The two are not mutually exclusive. She knew when she saw the draw that this was not going to end well. Grass is her nemesis and she just started playing on it when she was 16 or 17.

Osaka just started playing on grass at 16 or 17. Anyone can beat her on grass and she has admitted to it several times and that she is still learning. No coach can turn that around in a couple of weeks. She has nothing to be ashamed of. So far she has handled her defeats with grace, self reflection, and accountability.
