Blues brought him up in March so his kid with autism could get insurance coverage. He was in SA all year away from the tough family situation. Even millionaires have tough heart breaking jobs.
What an awesome back story about him playing in the minors, St.Louis calling him up for 1 game so his insurance would cover his autistic child. Congrats Chris and good on you Blues !Glad you were able to hold up that cup.. In Winnipeg now, but from Sault Ste. Marie. Too bad it couldn't have been with the Jets. It'll be memory for life.
Was truly amazing what St Louis did for him and his Autism son. Bring him back up from the AHL so he could have insurance. Sounds like a wonderful organization.
This done it with most of the players are Canadians, and why are we looking abroad for players when they should be looking in our own yard.What a fantastic victory for the Blues! Not my favorite team, but so happy for the team and the city! Long time coming. One of the original teams of the 1967 NHL expansion, 52 years waiting for this moment.
