Thank you for your sharp comment, @adncabrera. Although I am little given to nomenclatures and to reducing writers and works to such classifications, it is undeniable that there was historical literary realism, and that its presence (in addition to its works themselves) transcended to levels of great importance, those which you express very well when you speak of the question of representation in literature. Perhaps because some people dared to talk about and think about it, even if they were wrong, in a certain way (we would say today), the problem of what is the relationship between art (of the word or other media) and reality was revealed.
