Teen Bitcoin Millionaire Erik Finman Claims Litecoin is Dead and Bitcoin will Follow
Erik Finman, a teenage crypto-celebrity, and millionaire recently proclaimed that Bitcoin “may have a bull market or two left in it [but] long-term, it’s dead.” Finman made the comments during a December 17 interview with MarketWatch and his claim to fame comes from investing $1,000 in Bitcoin in 2011 after receiving a cash gift from his grandmother. He originally purchased at $12 per coin and by 2017’s all-time high his fortune reached $4 million. While speaking to MarketWatch, Finman explained that Bitcoin is “too fragmented [and] there’s tons of infighting, I just don’t think it will last.” Finman also testified that “Litecoin has been dead for a while. It’s like when the sun is going down and there’s that eight-minute period before it goes dark.” Finman gave a fairly positive assessment of “project-based” tokens like!
