We remember visiting this cathedral and yes, we were in and out within ten minutes (that's because Sam's dad had a moment to himself, otherwise we would be out sooner). We were rushed with lots of things to see in Lisbon in one day rather than properly being interested.

We read that there was not too much to see and not really worth it but the cloister was incredible and standing under the giant rose stained glass window ... that took my breath away.
Sam lived in Rome and has been to a few churches/cathedrals in his time, so you can imagine he ends up thinking they are all the same. We know they are not and they have their own unique charm. We're glad you got to be Quasimodo for the day - swinging on some bells, were you? Hehehe
