I dreamed that I was a baby dolphin

I woke up deep
shaken by a gale.
I turned many times,
I laughed many more
I hit bottom and ground
in gentle shake,
eternal poetry
of the sea resident.

The blizzard ceased and my mother arrived,
caresses and kisses provided me.
Looking at my eyes she whispered to me
with tender whistles,
a blessing.
With joy he smiled and lit up
Seeing me so healthy and so touchy.

With flexibility,
my body surrounded
we swim in tune
together both.
We love each other in silence;
her milk fed me.
Now, we will travel,
sweetly hinted.

The pack awaits us,
the journey will be fun,
we will sail the seas
of hidden treasures.
Clams and shining shells,
of unknown bugs,
together we will swim
to be protected.

The view was beautiful;
It distracted my senses.
Suddenly, a great oyster
showed me its content.
I was stunned
to see that interesting stash,
that fit whole in my snout
and invited me to play
with hypnotic order.

Unintentionally, I separated from the group.
I spent wasted time.
Inspired by vibrant colors
of fish that sprouted in many ways,
discovering the caverns
of octopuses and tired beings,
swinging on seaweed
and chasing starfish
and seahorses.

In the distance I could see
a dark body that investigated me.
With penetrating gaze
a brunette was meandering.
My loneliness in that instant
it shook me where I was it?
I was suddenly afraid,
I was hiding behind a sponge,
I was shaking nonstop,
without understanding what was happening.

My heart was beating fast,
my little body waved.
I saw my salvation arrive;
my mother in front of the pack,
to ward off danger
that conspired against me.

Blue and red fishes,
seals, snails and crabs,
jellyfish of a thousand colors,
they glowed like a reflection.
On the water surface
I saw with intense surprise,
how a huge seagull
flew over my head.

Delighted with beauty
of those seascapes,
night came and tired
of so many stunts and pampering,
joined my mother,
through sounds,
swinging in her belly
I closed my eyes again.
And in a dream dance,
I understood with joy,
that I was a dolphin, a little one.

Soñé que era un Delfincito

Desperté en la profundidad
sacudido por un vendaval.
Giré muchas veces,
reí muchas más,
toqué fondo y tierra
en suave agitar,
eterna poesía
del residente del mar.

La ventisca cesó y mi madre llegó,
caricias y besos me proporcionó.
Mirando mis ojos me susurró
con tiernos silbidos,
una bendición.
De alegría sonrió y se iluminó
al verme tan sano y tan retozón.

Con flexibilidad,
mi cuerpo rodeó,
nadamos en sintonía
juntitos los dos.
Nos amamos en silencio;
su leche me alimentó.
Ahora, viajaremos,
dulcemente insinuó.

La manada nos espera,
el trayecto será divertido,
surcaremos los mares
de tesoros escondidos.
De almejas y conchas brillantes,
de bichos desconocidos,
en conjunto nadaremos
para estar protegidos.

La vista era hermosa;
distraía mis sentidos.
De pronto, una gran ostra
me mostró su contenido.
Me quedé estupefacto
de ver aquel interesante alijo,
que cabía entero en mi hocico
y me invitaba a jugar
con hipnótico pedido.

Sin querer, me separé del grupo.
Pasé tiempo perdido.
Inspirado por colores vibrantes
de peces que brotaban en muchos sentidos,
descubriendo las cavernas
de pulpos y seres cansinos,
columpiándome en algas
y persiguiendo estrellas de mar
y caballitos marinos.

A la distancia pude ver
un cuerpo oscuro que me indagaba.
Con mirada penetrante
una morena serpenteaba.
Mi soledad en ese instante
me sacudió ¿dónde estaba?
De pronto tuve miedo,
tras una esponja me ocultaba,
temblaba sin parar,
sin entender lo que pasaba.

Mi corazón latía rápido,
mi pequeño cuerpo ondeaba.
Vi llegar mi salvación;
mi madre al frente de la manada,
para alejar el peligro
que contra mi conspiraba.

Peces azules y rojos,
focas, caracoles y cangrejos,
medusas de mil colores,
resplandecían como un reflejo.
En la superficie del agua
vi con intensa sorpresa,
cómo una inmensa gaviota
voló sobre mi cabeza.

Deleitado con la hermosura
de esos paisajes marinos,
llegó la noche y cansado
de tantas acrobacias y mimos,
unido a mi madre,
a través de sonidos,
balanceándome en su vientre
volví a cerrar mis ojitos.
Y en danza de sueños,
entendí con regocijo,
que fui un delfín, uno chiquito.
