The Lords Prayer

 We are given the perfect prayer by God, as the people asked him how to pray and He then give us the Lord’s Prayer. 

This does not mean that we cannot pray in other ways. Sometimes we can pray for the sick, the lonely as well as people who do not know God. 

By doing this, God might hear our prayer and help this person to follow him. God gave us certain rules to live by and those we have to follow, for if we do not Satan can come and he can take us away from what God expects from us.

We must make very sure in our hearts that when we pray it is to God and that we believe it. If we do not believe with all our hearts, and souls we might not know how badly we have gone off the path of what God wants us to do. 

Praying is one of the most important things that God told us to do, there are other sacraments, but if we pray and believe, we will be on the right path. 

God does things in his own time, and this is where the Devil can jump in and make us forget, that if whatever we pray for does not happen immediately, we must wait.

It does take some time for God to decide when the right time will be for him to fulfil our prayer. If we start losing confidence in Him we are really in big trouble. 

Therefore we cannot expect God to do things the way we want him to. God does it when it is right. To God a million years can be like one second to us.

We must never question God, who do we think we are if we question him and not just wait for him to do what he wants in his own time. 

He is the Alpha and the Omega and his word will be there as it was in the beginning and will be in the end. If this is not what we believe we will be condemned and where will we land up after death.

I for one just want my name written in the Book of Life that is kept by God. 

For if it is not there, we will be condemned for eternity and that scares me so much.  

That is why I try and maybe I do not always succeed but then I pray and ask God to help me as eternity is a very long time. 

In our brain it does not make sense but it will never stop.
