The Icelandic coasts and all their mythical charm seemed to be the most suitable place to receive in peace the end of the brief period of experience that we know as life. However, the end of existence turned out to be this grave that some call the world and more than an end turned out to be the beginning of this story.

Commotion

A huge sparkle in the atmosphere marked the starting point of the extinction of the races and everything known to man, before such a situation we wait with resignation for our end in a pleasant gathering listening to Jhon Lenon interpret harmoniously Yesterday with his guitar while Leonardo accompanied him with the lute.

We imagined that the interpretation would not reach its end and that by then we would already be forming part of the dust from which God raised our first ancestor...

But that didn't happen, or anything like that. Faced with such uncertainty we wanted to know whether the rest of humanity had survived as we did or at least part of it. But it was impossible, there was no means of communication between them, and if there were, it would probably have been totally useless. We decided to organize and prioritize our survival... Yes, at the beginning we were waiting for death in peace, but only because we considered that there was no option for any kind of salvation, things were different now and our priority was to survive and ratify if anyone else besides us had survived.

Basically we build a camp quickly thanks to Leonardo's skills in drawing up maps, maps and useful articles with only the elements that nature provides us or those that still remain. The geographical constitution of the area favoured us with many caves that could make us very safe shelters.

Leonardo was very adept at modifying the camp's structure and adapting it to the demands of nature, Platón predicted with certainty the climatic changes and studied possible migration routes in case it was necessary to leave the camp. @extasispro helped by collecting provisions and processing our food supply that was mostly based on rice and wheat that by geographical conditions was a little far from the base camp and was often assisted by Jhon who periodically relaxed us with his songs and wrote the logbook of our days, I on the other hand was in charge of cooking, guarding the divine artifacts "The sandals of the god Hérmes, El Chintamani " and inventorying emergency ritual materials I extracted from " Solomon's Key ", none of the boys were aware that I had such scriptures in my possession.

Farewell day

One day John went out as usual in search of wood to keep the fire burning and to look at the fields, the rest of us were entertained with stories of Platón and so it took 3 hours until we realized that John had not returned.....

We started a search that lasted more than 4 hours until we found a cave-in that buried John under heavy debris. But the ritual to revive John requires an equivalent payment (another life) to succeed and that would leave us in worse conditions and to top it off the Chintamani of Platón turned out to be a simple jewel, just a myth.

There was no choice but to get his body back and give him one last goodbye. In our camp we organized a humble evening where we toasted for his soul with the wine that @luisquero brought and sang "Norweigan Wood, Yesterday and Imagine" with the guitar and lute of John @extasispro made a bed of branches where the inert remains of Jhon that we would later burn were laid to rest.

It was a hard blow, but we had to overcome it and continue with our main objective. Survive
Over the next few days I had to seek @extasispro's help to continue documenting myself and proving the usefulness of rituals of *** "The Key of Solomon" *** while others were searching for escape routes and putting together a plan to leave that place and go out in search of signs of human life, and so a month's stay in that place was completed and the time to leave it was approaching.

Yes, John would stay, but his soul will remain with us.....

This is my contribution to the second phase of the contest, here is the link to the first part.

Truly exceptional in every sense. You have a flowing narrative, and superb structure. I really enjoyed this. Thank you for your contributions to our community. And post your links when their new! Better odds for resteems and upvotes. I'll resteem this anyway. My crystal ball suggests there is still time for this post to receive its due recognition.

Thank you very much for your consideration. I really appreciate your support.
