Don't trust moving company on their quote. They usually give you much lower quote than the final one. It is their strategy to get clients. They can't lose or break anything, or they'll be sued. They can't do bad job and they have to insure their workers.
The only hack they have is to charge more and with the competition on every corner they quote less.

So, sell or even throw away every big and bulky piece of furniture you have (of course if it's not really expensive piece). It is much cheaper to buy new furniture nowadays. The new furniture will be delivered free of charge most probably. And it will even come with instruction on assembly. And you'll have NEW furniture/lamp/desk.
