So sorry to hear of your kitty's incision becoming infected. I have 2 cats and my little female Calico developed one after her spay. Ripped some of her sutures. She had to wear the lampshade looking collar to prevent her from licking the wound. I applied polysporin 2times daily with a oral antiobiotic. She recovered and is now a year old. Hope they provided you with a collar. Let us know of her progress.

Good to know that your cat recovered and hoping that for my cat as well the soonest possible. She was not given a collar maybe the vet did not see it necessary. Good thing that she seems not liking the taste of the cream in her wound and stopped licking it.
