WE NEED TO REJOICE, TO PRAY, TO GIVE THANKS.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Always rejoice, Unceasingly pray, In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
The way to preserve our spirit is first to exercise it to have fellowship with God. We need to rejoice, pray, and give thanks. If we do this, our spirit will be pulled out of a condition of deadness and will be living. Second, we preserve our spirit by keeping it from all defilement and contamination. Our Lord Jesus has washed away all our sins, and is daily cleansing us from all the defilement. May we always turn to our spirit daily, moment by moment, thanking and praising our Savior all the day long.
