On my merry way though the town of Margaret River (post swim) i decided to stop at the the rug shop. Obviously this sounds like a very random place to stop, especially considering i didnt need a rug. In fact i was in the market for some incense sticks, and i knew there was a shop around that area that sold some good old smelly sticks - i didnt realise it was infact, the same shop.

After following my nose around the place i realised i had walked into a conglomerate box of absolute randomness - a place full of everything you dont need, apart from that thing you realised you didnt acctually need until you layed eyes on it.

For sale there was, in no particular order:

Rugs (fairly obvious)
Insense sticks and candles (check)
Nudey postcards (random)
Live goldfish and crabs for sale (wtf?)
Massive buddahs (very spiritual)
Fridge magnets possibly from prior 1980's (timeless)

Long story short, there was a nice lady working in the shop and i helped her hang up a rug. I ended up buying some incense, a massive vanilla candle, and a card which im going to turn into a postcard and send back to me mum and dad in England.

On top of that it turns out her son had dropped by at the brewery i work at to apply for a job last week, and i had met him when he dropped off his resumè. She told me he was really passionate about homebrewing - so i wrote down on a piece of paper the steemit website and told her about it and that maybe he could write about something as extremely interesting as that on here. She then tells me hes also a pro writer and had started a blog months ago. Oh how the universe works its magic.

Hopefully we will have the next William Shakespeare beer enthusiast joining us in the coming weeks! Hoorah!

How does any of this tie in to the title and quote at the top of the page?

As i was helping the lady hang up the rug, i saw it was on a picture in the corner of the room and i thought to myself "yeh, i like that".
