St. Antonio, Witness to Climate Change
Hello friends of Steemit, especially those of you who fill up my post below, I hope all your investments are well and that they continue to grow. Today I want to talk to you a little bit about what has happened with the weather in the city where I live today.
St. Antonio of Táchira is a Venezuelan city characterized for being a border area with the neighboring country Colombia, also for its industrial commerce and the quality of its habitants.
The normal temperature in this city does not exceed 33 °C, yes, it is hot. But in recent days it has been hit by a strong wave of rain and cloud cover, creating a spectacle for the eye.
To see a dense fog that covers the city is something unprecedented, and the streets without its people is something we are not used to seeing on a regular basis.
On one of those days, when the weather was very bad for me, I got on my motorcycle and I arrived at a place in the city called "The Cristo King", because of the sculpture of Jesus Christ located on the highest part.
And so I was able to capture with my cell phone this unique landscape to show you and believe me that when you visit the city is unlikely to see it like this.
