How to become a System Engineer. Some Help To Start... ENG/ITA

If you are passionate about computer science and want it as your daily work, i'm sorry but i have to say you must study. I feel confident to say, who generally take this career has a strong propensity to the systems and everything that lies behind their mechanisms.

Most people who generally go into this category of work, aren't from an engineering degree course.
Most of my friends (engineer) are almost programmers (Java, C #, etc ...) However, the study is at the basis of any technical discipline and like System Engineer requires strong preparation.
Unlike what you think, using systems or implement it, is not like people usually say: "next next next".
Behind there is a study that allows us to have confidence in the systems. Generally, who decide to take this career work at 70% with Microsoft Operating Systems.
What's the better beginning to start with it?

HOW TO START
Unlike what is seen on the job market, the System Engineer only manage systems.
Usually you will see job offers where Companies are finding people with experience in Systems, Netowrking, Storage and Backup. However, are completely different and complex jobs. A System Engineer is a "System Engineer".... STOP
With this i don't want to say you shouldn't have a Network base understanding, because it help us to know how system works.
When I started approaching Systems world I thought knowing the client operating systems was enough to start this career. But was wrong because server operating systems are completely different.

HOW TO START 2
To understand better the systems and to have more autonomy on them, I suggest to give a look on the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) named before as (Microsoft Certified System Engineer). This will be the beginning of a certification program you'll need to follow. Companies generally want to see you certifications and this will be a good start point to have a look in the job world.
You will see, for example, explained private classes, shared folders, active directory, etc ...

There are several study books. A good one i found interesting was made by Microsoft Press.

HOW TO COMPLETE THE CERTIFICATION
As explained before, you will need to decide wich certification type to follow for buying books (there are several ebooks online) and for finding the course code. For example: "Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012" is the first module of the MCSE - Infrastructure. The course is 70-410. So I will have to buy the book about this course.
After completing the study (I suggest you to create a virtual environment to do all the exercises described in the book) you will need to take the exam. There are different authorized centers by Microsoft called "VUE". However, it will not be enough, because You will need to give all 5 exams designed for MCSE certification. At the end, you'll receive the "certificate". This will be valid for presentation to companies during the interview.

Se siete appassionati di informatica e vorrete che questa diventi il vostro lavoro quotidiano, mi dispiace dirvelo ma sarete costretti a studiare. Mi sento abbastanza confidente nel dire che, chi generalmente intraprende questa carriera, ha una forte propensione ai sistemi ed a tutto ciò che si cela dietro i meccanismi di funzionamento degli stessi.

La maggior parte delle persone che generalmente sfocia in questa categoria di lavoro non viene prevalentemente da un corso di studi ingegneristico. La maggior parte dei miei amici ingegneri sono quasi tutti programmatori (chi di Java, chi in C#, ecc...).
Lo studio è comunque alla base di ogni disciplina tecnica e come tale l'ambito sistemistico richiede una forte preparazione. A differenza di quello che si pensa, utilizzare i sistemi od implementare gli stessi, non è solo il c.d. "avanti avanti avanti". Ma dietro c'e' tutto uno studio che ci permette di avere confidenza con i sistemi stessi.
Generalmente chi decide di intraprendere questa carriera lavora al 70% con i sistemi operativi Microsoft. Quale migliore base se non cominciare con i sistemi operativi Microsoft?

LE BASI SISTEMISTICHE
a differenza di quello che si vede sul mercato il sistemista si occupa solo dei sistemi. Molto spesso vedrete annunci di persone "tuttofare" che si occupano dei sistemi, di networking e peggio ancora di storage e backup. Sono tuttavia lavori completamente diversi e complessi tutti in egual modo. Ciò non toglie però che il sistemista debba comunque avere una base di Network per capire come funzionano i sistemi.
Quando iniziai ad avvicinarmi al mondo sistemistico pensai che conoscere i sistemi operativi client fosse necessario per intraprendere la carriera. Ma così non era perchè i sistemi operativi server sono completamente differenti.

COME INIZIARE
per comprendere bene le basi dei sistemi e per avere una maggiore autonomia sugli stessi mi sento di consigliarvi inizialmente il percorso di studi di Microsoft denominato MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert una volta chiamato Microsoft Certified System Engineer). Questo sarà l'inizio di un percorso di certificazione che dovrete seguire. Le aziende generalmente vogliono dei pezzi di carta e questo sarà sicuramente un buon inizo per avere un trampolino di lancio nel mondo del lavoro.
La certificazione MCSE (vi suggerisco di prendere la Server Infrastructure) è un percorso composto da 5 esami dove all'interno troverete non solo tutta la guida per gestire i sistemi operativi Microsoft, ma anche delle nozioni fondamentali per conoscere meglio "questo mondo". Vi verrano ad esempio spiegate le classi private, cosa sono le shared folder, cosa è active directory, ecc...

Ci sono diversi testi di studio. Quelli che ho trovato migliori sono quelli della Microsoft Press, alcuni dei quali anche in Italiano.

COME COMPLETARE LA CERTIFICAZIONE
come appena spiegato, sarà necessario decidere il percorso di certificazione da seguire e comprare i libri (ci sono anche diversi ebook in inglese online) relativi al codice di quel corso. Per es. "Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012" è il primo modulo dell'MCSE - Infrastructure. Il corso è il 70-410. Dovrò pertanto comprare il libro relativo a questo corso.
Dopo aver completato lo studio (vi consiglio di crearvi un ambiente virtuale per fare tutte le prove operative descritte nel libro) sarà necessario dare l'esame dello stesso. Esistono dei centri autorizzati da Microsoft e denominati "CENTRI VUE" che vi permetteranno di dare l'esame su dei terminali appositamente predisposti.
Tuttavia non basterà aver dato un solo esame. Dovrete darli tutti e 5 per raggiungere la certificazone MCSE. Al termine degli stessi vi verrà rilasciato un "attestato" che sarà valido ai fini di presentazione alle aziende nel caso richiesto in fase di colloquio.
