Always Remember
"Having an insecure is not your fault but it is indeed your problem"
So How to deal with an Insecure Boss? What is the best course of Action???

Keep Your Self Esteem up.

It is often so easy to gets in a negative frame of mind when your boss yells at you or tries to micromanage you. So instead of wondering what possibly you are doing wrong, it is always advised to check if you are not threatening your boss with your brilliant performance.

Never Outshine the Masters

If you are outshining you boss with your better talents and performance, you are asking for trouble. It is deadly mistake on your part to think that by displaying your gifts and talents you can win your boss's affection. So, start feigning to be dumb in front of your boss. This will assure him/her of his/her superiority.(Let him live in his fools paradise)

Ask For Help

Deliberately make small non-fetal mistakes and ask you boss for advise or help.Always make sure to make it seem like you want to seek your boss's expertise and advice. This will make himher feel more important and indispensable.

Flattery

Flatter and puff up your boss. Overt flattery is effective but it can attract envious eyes of your colleagues. Instead, discrete flattery is much more powerful.

Give Credit

Always remember to publicly give credit of your achievements to your boss.

That will be all for today my dear ones.
Hope this post helps you in dealing with your professional predicaments.

hahahaha.......nice way to deal boss:P

yes indeed...

Something that I am starting to see more often in the workplace is younger bosses, and subsequently younger management working just under the main bosses. I think this potentially creates insecurity with the main bosses, because they know they may be replaced with someone younger and more vibrant etc. This can cause some bosses to lash out. Because you didn't used to need an education to become a boss, many people took years to work their way up in a workplace. Now, you can get into management by merely studying it. Many workplaces actually prefer that. So where most "bosses" used to be in the late 30s, early 40s at the youngest, now there are "bosses" graduating with their Mba at 24. This creates an awkward atmosphere for the boomer generation that had to "work" for everything, so I certainly have sympathy for jerk bosses in regard to that. (Not that it's ok that they're jerks, but at least understanding as to why they may be.)

Great article, this really got me thinking this morning!

Very valid point indeed.
