Tarot for Steemians Vol. 1 - Shadowrun
Following Instructions!
So you got a tarot deck. Big deal. Who doesn't have a tarot deck these days? Wakka wakka. So magic is concatenizing with the Cyber. Big deal.
Seriously though:
This whole dang platform operates on a decentralized, verifiable compound of runaway of ingenuity. The thing that was made surpassingly out-operates the makers, who make things that operate on the thing.
Sounds familiar? Sound like the Universe at all? This has a dab of anthropocentrism (future post), but let's agree that in any concretized record of causality there are modes of access that violate observation rules but are so crazy they just might work.
Cartomancy for the cybershaman, in a nutshell.
I've had my deck of dinosaur and gingko pulp (plastic cards) for some years, but I thought after autodidacting some tutorial, I would just do the damn thing. Time to consecrate!
- Draw your finger in a clockwise circle.
- Sprinkle salt then water. It doesn't matter how, use your dang intention.
- Get rid of bozos cramping your style. "I hereby banish forces undesirable, for I must craft a bauble within which I work."
- Dabble your fingers in some water and flick it on your little holder pouch. "May this bag pure be, free of links and tides hence."
- Clutch that sucker and pray, and imagine it's soaked in neon laser. "Now consecrated be this bag, its lot: ward of these tokens of cartomancy."
- Now do some magic in your brain with the cards, however you want to picture them. "Sigil, symbol, and ken, may the Indwelling reveal that which is hidden, with Truth penetrating from the Ambivalent Eye."
- Okay now think about it some more.
- Sprinkle some more salt then water.
- Toss out the last of those little intention-imps. "I say, Begone! all remnants clinging to my working sphere."
- Now draw a circle counterclockwise.
- Tell the All you're done. "The circle is closed."
Presto-change-o!
You just declared an altcoin of your head's ability to operate on the ultimate dispassionately prescient SEGWIT, Blessed Be the Name.
But is that self-voting abuse?
No. As far as we can tell, there is neither a market cap nor a finitude to the number of blocks, nor their height or difficulty, so release your inner bot.
Is this really about tarot cards?
Actually, yeah. I performed this little algorithm, then interacted with my deck like XEM's Proof of Importance. Envisioned the 3 of wands rising to the top of the deck. Guess what emerged?
My subjective reading will necessarily differ from yours. This is just the beginning of the dawn of the esoteric birthing into the Cyber, the life seething within the cryptosphere.

"Who doesn't own a Tarot deck?"
Lol,
that would be me, actually. Not opposed, I just have alternate methods of divination. Nice read, btw.
I might actually make a set of my own soon.
You got it! My wakka wakka was very tongue in cheek. Whatever system works for whatever folks.
Heh, followed when I noticed "Amateur Chaos Magician".
Familiar with Peter J Carroll or Robert Anton Wilson?
RAW practically started my while dang adventure! Later better defined ...
Awesome! I never seem to encounter anyone familiar with his ideas, so it's nice to know he hasn't faded into oblivion. Maybe I should write a piece about him.
I kept encountering his work when I was younger but never really knew who he was until later, when I bought one of his books and everything coalesced into a mindblast of recognition and realization.
Recommend any good sites leaning toward Chaotes? I know of DKMU, but Im unsure if its still around.
I actually have little clue. CMG is decent of Facebook, although in true discordian fashion there is a lot of shitposting.
Chaotes on Facebook is something weird to me. Like...I guess I just have a stereotype in my mind about the kind of people that make up this group (having met literally 0 people even familiar with the concept IRL, lots of Wiccans though. lol)
Anyways, if you are curious, https://www.dkmu.org is a cool site. They have a FB page that used to be more active than the site, but the site has been picking up as far as I can tell.
I'll check it out!
