Women Empowerment Donated $31.25 to Mahmuda for her college admission today.

Dear supporters of Women Empowerment,

Today is Monday, We supposed to share our craft work with our supporters. But due to a urgent cause we needed to fund-raise for one of our trainee Mahmuda.

Two years ago Mahmuda completed her higher secondary school but she did not admit for higher study due to financial problem. She lives in a slum and manage her family income by teaching some students. Her father is a day labourer and he can't even feed them well. So her mother also go to work as house maid. Mahmuda has a younger sister who's age is 5 years.

This year Mahmuda wants to admit her younger sister at school instead admit herself at college. She shared her difficulties with us. As she wants to continue her study, we made a quick decision to help her any how.

Today I @Azizbd visited her home donated half of the admission fees. So actually the money was donated by @Azizbd as medium of my @WomenEmpowerment project.

@WomenEmpowerment project allowed us to know how women from slums face problem and how their skill of handicraft can solve the problem in future. Mahmuda come to @SchoolForSDG4 to participate handicraft training on Friday. It is far away from her slum. We are paying their transportation cost too. But this is not non-profit. It is like as personal @Azizbd's social business project which needs support.

Here she was showing me her work progress and also holding the donated amount of 31.25 USD . She was so happy and her mother too.

We also gave her some beauty products sent by @girlbeforemirror from Australia for her. It made her double happy and thankful. We are so happy to receive support so we can keep helping the women by training and developing our resources. Donation is one time solution for these women but to make long term solution, we need to train them.
