Self-discipline gone
This is an era that we easily get indulged.
I don't know if you had this feeling before, when you came home from school every day, planned to read some good books; maybe you'll list some plans every month, and you'll read them one at a time, but as you picked up your phone and launched the game, it's like you're under a spell, can’t stop from playing.
Time goes by bit by bit.
Day after day, your time can be used to improve your professional, enhance your level of work, develop your hobbies ...
But the game, PUBG, Fortnite and so on, quietly swallowing you.
Until a few years later, when you begin to feel dissatisfied with the current situation but can’t change anything, only to find that the time is gone, and you, can only stay there, blame yourself, complaining about your lack of self-control, blame yourself for lack of willpower ...

In my junior high school memory, my mother rarely asked me about my school life, but in my father's eyes, only about the study results. It can be said that I feel less than warmth and concern that I should have at that age. I understand that they work hard day and night, just to hope that I can become successful. But I can only say that I have done my best!
After I went to university, just like a horse off the reins, like experience an unprecedented sense of freedom; in university, as if a whole new world opened to me: I was immersed in the virtual game world, with some research, soon mastered the essence of the game and routines, leading my friends to the victory.
With the passage of time, the addiction to online games was getting deeper and deeper. In fact, I also admit that when I just started playing the game, it feels cool and exciting. But slowly, I do not know why I was addicted to this and can't extricate myself.
Just like smoking, at the beginning you did not understand why people smoke, in the end only know not to smoke is uncomfortable.

It is hard to feel the warmth and love in the real world, when found the sense of existence and satisfaction in the game world, I was immersed in this perfect experience, getting strong pleasure from the game, so I was willing to sacrifice long-term happiness, in exchange for a brief feeling of joy.
Sometimes I think that: Maybe it is not about lacking willpower, is someone working hard just to constantly destroy your self-discipline!
There are tens of thousands of people working all night to break your self-discipline by allowing you to indulge in the game and other products.
People are social animals, social, who are eager to know what others think of themselves.
So, in the end how to get rid of the obsession with online games and the reliance on the mobile phone?
You need to build an environment away from temptation, don't be friends with those who are obsessed with the game, divert your hobbies, and find yourself some work to do.

People who are poor at self-discipline, like me, do not use a reasonable time to play mobile phone method, with this method, you wouldn’t be able to control yourself. When you launch the game, it is like entering into another space.
Many people have the habit of reading novels and watching dramas, those directors, those authors like to use on people's psychology, a few minutes before the drama ends, will set an "addiction", that is, deliberately create a suspense, said that the simple point is to bury the foreshadowing, let you continue reading/ watching.
So if you don't want to waste a day watching drama, reading a novel, you can choose to read one episode, and then watch the next episode for a few minutes; don't look at "addiction", you know what I mean?
You will find that you are no longer eager to pursue the drama.
(There is also another way which is simply don’t watch, don’t even check them out, although I do not know if this method is suitable for you, but this is indeed the most effective.)
More and more young people have become the "leek" or "cash cow" of the business companies that make addictive experiences (the damned Tencent Games, Epic Games).
Because technology will not regress, only forward, if you don’t want to be enslaved by technology, we need to read more and think more, build our own inner world and spiritual world, away from these "addiction";
This addictive road is precisely the path of human being enslaved by technology.
