COLLABORATIVE ENERGY of AFRICAN YOUTHS(Wafrica Guest Post)

There are diverse innovative potentials among African youth but they remain untapped and intangible because there are limited means of expression that would help nurture these potentials into what can be experienced explicitly for both development and sustainability.

YES! African Youths are dynamic, energetic, adaptable and enterprising, a blend that is not easy to come by easily.

There are many ideas running to and from the minds of these sets of people but very little fraction finds the means to be fully expressed and gainfully executed. And for this, many youths have become frustrated and felt neglected because:

• They are not heard nor given the opportunity to realize their potentials
• They are also not empowered to do things that could facilitate needed change in the society.
  

This is why the African Youth must collaborate in the bid to engineer an innovative revolutionary initiative that feeds on Shared Vision, Education, Collaboration and Collective Execution.

This collaboration will be a profitable one and fuelled by the intention of creating or engineering a social change for desired productivity that the society failed to realize because they neglect the Youth. This is simply a collaborative platform (like @wafrica) that would always lead to the initiation of myriads of collaborative platforms.

The Operation will be geared towards increasing people’s productivity through collaborative synergy of ideas, skills and resources. It will involve fusing many independent ideas together to form a giant wheel of a singular idea that will bring a major change.

Creating a Sense of Community is the primary but not the only goal. This collaborative initiative will also help one another to foster a holistic personal and professional development that will help youths gain competencies in essential areas for sustainable development.

In the area of Business or Entrepreneurship for instance, there could be a seven member team, with seven projects forming a singular entity or corporation. Each member will double as the head of a project and a key part of the remaining six projects. This signifies that each member of the team will lead and teach in the area of his/her expertise as well as follow and learn in the area s/he is not so good at. Learning be by Doing!

Also, when each project grows to be a full-fledged operational entity, the leaders will take ownership and responsibility for each entity as each project has the potential of blowing up to become an organization or venture.

• The first beauty is that all projects will find a way to connect and integrate with one another.

• The second beauty is that each member will both lead and learn and at some point, and would have mastered execution of seven project during these periods of collaboration.

• The third beauty is that over time, the six-faceted entity would have grown to become known for six revolutionary projects.

• The fourth beauty is that each founding member would be free to branch out and start his/her own venture or choose to stay because the idea is not to hold anyone down but to build capacities through collaboration.

• The fifth beauty comes when these members agree to stay in collaboration when they can start afresh on their own.

The Opportunities of this kind of endeavour is limitless and The Future Privileges are in myriads of ways that are beyond what we are imagining now. Collaboration is The FUTURE OF PRODUCTIVE WORK!
