This was a fun jaunt to take, @vincentnijman. And that's all it needs to be, a fun jaunt. :) Kind of creepy, a little spine tingly, but still, fun nonetheless.
I've looked up different things that happened on my birthday, or that of a loved one, and it's always interesting to see how you connect with the greater world, or history.
Think about the different lives you could have led, the different paths or roads you could have taken, how things would be if you were someone else.
Then reality strikes, and we're back where we started with choices to make which will take us further along the journey, with the only sure thing being, at some point, hopefully with many more years tacked to it, we too, will go the way of van Gogh. And the rest of humanity. :)
I couldn't say it any better ( as Carl points out ). Glad you enjoyed it, for so far this could be enjoyed. It definitely wasn't meant as a morbid peace but how we read things always depends on our own perspective and the mood we're in anyway.

Well, I didn't get morbid out of this myself, so I believe you succeeded there. The creepy part comes in when you start looking at the parallels, and then realize there's some of those in your life, too. :) It's a cool creepy, though. Like "What if" rather than, "Ewww." :)

Do you really have a twin sister or is this a rhetorical construct? Great post, really interesting thinking about a parent at same age as oneself and those little windowormholes between times like the record player opened up are always fun to fall through :) Love ya
There may have been at one point but assuming it was ever a conscious reason to begin with that has since been lost to antiquity. It's just my number XD

No worries. I thought it might look somewhat grim/ morbid, that's one of the reasons why I added the music part to it :>)
