Intelligence generates sadness
Do you wonder why intelligent people are more lonely, more unhappy and more dissatisfied with themselves? I have been comparing myself to the world around for a long time, but I found too many differences and fewer similarities. At one point, I grew up and realized that I just had to surround myself with people who were close to me - in a way of thinking, reactions, hobbies, and aspirations. Then I realized that more and more this group increased their criteria, even to themselves, and what remained to the others. I have come to the conclusion that intelligence generates sorrow - I think of every move and decision, and stupid people risk and live peacefully.

All they need do is focus on their Values
In my opinion its more related on how present you are in your life, and analyzing in a realistic form your surroundings and yourself.
And try to eliminate your bad things, teach others and so create a better world.
Sometimes im to near tu surrender this fight, because like you wrote.
You get sad and tired, if you see what happens every day in our society.
