The timing of sharing ideas is not rigid. This can be done at any time, after a perfect thought through. Sometimes we can keep idea sharing to ourselves until we have refined it. Also, we can share when we are with trusted friends who are aligned with our values. The other "when" is after we have finished carrying out the basic research and we can conclusively defend the ideas.

Knowing the right time and the source to push a conclusive idea to the public is as important as the idea itself. Accomplishing a great work and publishing it in a local journal that doesn't have a website, will be detrimental to any good idea.
