Is Education The Key To Successful Living?

WHAT IS EDUCATION

Education is the process of facilitating learning, development of the abilities of the mind and the aquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits.
It can also be the act or process of imparting general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgement and generally preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life
The act or process of imparting or acquiring particular knowledge or skills, as for a profession.

IS EDUCATION IMPORTANT?
Well, I have asked myself same question over and over so many times not until i thought to myself "what if i never had any formal education or what i was left to grow up to maturity without formal education", I could not compare the imagination of an uneducated me to myself right now.
Education makes you aware of yourself, gives you the knowledge of the world around us, its makes you stand out in the society, providing a vast sense of reasoning and making decisions, education develops our mind into different perspective of how we see life, now you can be able to see things not just from different views but from different angles.

NOW THE BIG QUESTION- IS EDUCATION A GUARANTEE TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING?
Most of the successful people i have got to meet and researched on, did not have a degree or diploma before becoming successful. These were people who were able to open their doors themselves, people who took financial risks out of mere understanding to become successful.
One thing i noticed was that they all brought in learned people in their midst, from where they could get advice and intellectual help.
Having a degree or diploma is important, it shows your academic execellence but does it means you would have a successful life?. I think its a "NO", if you have what it takes to achieve success you will with or without a degree or diploma.

Therefore the point is that education gives you a better chance of being successful compared to an individual that is uneducated on that same note, an uneducated individual can be successful through common understanding but will attain greater heights if he or she gets education.
