It’s true that people are usually not interested in what you say. They listen to you so that they can tell their ‘story’ after you stop talking. They are least interested in your life; I have noticed that most people talk about themselves or their kids, their interests and have the least interest in you. They will listen to you if you talk about THEIR kids or THEIR achievements, interests.

If people do not ask questions, they accept their reality. They do not wish to challenge anything as they are afraid of change.
